Combining the functionality of ISO 11179-3 and CWM

The metamodels of ISO 11179 and CWM can be merged to create a 11179 repository that also solves many recognized limitations of 11179-3. These limits include structured data (such as XML), deployment information (where the data elements are), multi-dimensional data, flat namespace and others. The resulting metamodel is an extension of CWM and thus has direct implementations, protocols, and interoperability.
