FAA Information Management and Data Registry

The presentation describes FAA’s information management initiatives including its use of an ISO/IEC 11179-compliant data registry. It describes the major aspects of data management at the FAA with specifics on data governance, data architecture and data registry. It describes our approach for a taxonomy derived from the pattern-based data models making up its data architecture.
