Semantic Mediawiki - Open Content Development

The NCI Thesaurus is a large biomedical thesaurus which has relied on a team of in-house subject matter experts for curation. The advent of the Semantic Media Wiki provides the opportunity to open curation to the greater biomedical community. This presentation describes the motivations, initial strategy and technology infrastructure for our open curation initative.
