Using public transportation:
From Manhattan:
-- Take the F train towards Queens/Jamaica to Roosevelt Island ($2.00)

Riding the Tramway:
From Manhattan:
-- Take the tramway from the 59th Street and 2nd Avenue station to Roosevelt Island. ($2.00)

On Roosevelt Island:
-- Take the Roosevelt Island Red Bus (MUST HAVE $0.25!) northbound to Northtown Baseball Field stop.
-- PS #217 is a short walk across the street.

It is approximately a half-mile walk from Tramway/Subway to PS #217.
Using Taxicabs:
Taxi fare from Manhattan to Roosevelt Island is approximately $15-20, not including a gratuity. See the Host City section for more information on taxicabs.
Driving:
Driving directions are available here although it is strongly discouraged.
Driving to the conference location is not advisable as parking is unavailable at the school. There is a daily public parking garage near the school at a rate of $20.00 for the day (as of 1/31/2007).
