Many of the registrants for the Open Forum are staying at the Bentley Hotel in Manhattan. Due to brisker than expected sales, there are no rooms left in the original block of rooms reserved for the Open Forum. Rooms may still be available at the regular rate, but these are almost sold out!

From the Bentley Hotel it is approximately a half-mile walk to the Roosevelt Island Tramway and three-quarter mile walk to the F train. Exact directions should be obtained from the hotel desk staff on how to get to the station. Information on how to get to the Forum from the tramway are available on the directions page.


To get to the Bentley Hotel:
The New York & New Jersey Port Authority website has more information about bus shuttle services and taxi services. http://www.panynj.gov


From LaGuardia airport:

  • Take the Q33 bus to the Jackson Hts/Roosevelt Av station.
  • Take the F train towards Manhattan to the Lexington Ave. / 63rd St. (3rd stop)
  • Walk 1 block south and 5 blocks east to the Bentley Hotel.


NOTE: It is not advised that you take the subways from the airport because it is a 3/4 mile walk to the hotel.


Taxi service from LaGuardia to midtown Manhattan is approximately $25, not including tolls and gratuity.


Airport bus service to midtown Manhattan hotels is approximately $10-20 (one way).


From JFK airport:

  • Take the AirTrain to the E line ($5.00)
  • Take the E train towards Manhattan and switch trains at Forest Hills (5th stop)
  • Take the F train towards Manhattan to Lexington Ave. / 63rd St. (4th stop)
  • Walk 1 block south and 5 blocks east to the Bentley Hotel.

Airport bus service to midtown Manhattan hotels is approximately $15-25 (one way).


Traveling by car:
Parking in New York is particularly difficult to find and extremely expensive. Driving in any way to the conference or hotel is strongly discouraged.
